In August 2000, Loita acquired 100% of the Industrial Credit Company (ICC) in Zambia, the leading leasing finance institution in the country. Based in Ndola on the country's copper belt, ICC Zambia continued to excel in its core business of leasing finance, while also expanding its operations, particularly in Lusaka, to include investment-banking products to the many corporate its serves.

A leasing unit, Industrial Credit Company South Africa (Pty) Ltd (ICCSA) was incorporated in 2003, and has already achieved success in niche market leasing transactions within South Africa. ICCSA assists primarily the emerging Black Empowerment Companies whilst developing Previously Disadvantaged Individuals in the Small and Medium sized enterprises segment. The transactions have been meticulously structured so as to mitigate any risks that would be apparent in this burgeoning sector of the South African market.

ICC has recently been sold after Loita had accomplished its objective in creating a first class financial institution in Zambia.
