LOITA  FINANCES MTWARA DEVELOPMENT CORRIDOR - Malawi - December 13, 2004.

Loita is financing MTWARA DEVELOPMENT CORRIDOR at the initial consideration of MWK2m. The cheque was handed over to the Minister of Transport and Public Works(Malawi) in a formal, ceremonial setting, attended by several Permanent Secretaries, officials from the ministry, NEPAD, and members of the press on the 10th December, 2004. During his speech, the Minister applauded Loita for their initiative and support in this project.

Credits go to Kassam Okhai who has represented Loita thus far. On Tuesday 14th December 2004, the heads of state from Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Mozambique will attend a formal launch of this project.

DEALERS ASSOCIATION – CHAIRMAN - Lusaka, Zambia - September 2004.

Loita changes once again the face of the Zambian financial market.  The first ever Dealers Association in Zambia was launched in September thanks to the efforts of the two Finance Bank Zambia seconded Loita officers - Miles Sampa & Jacques de Jager.  The launch was held in September at the Pamodzi Hotel with the Central Bank Governor as the guest of honour.  Commercial Banks & Reuters were an integral part of the success of the launch.  The Financial Markets Association (ACI) Zambia regroups 49 member dealers from various banks and is recognised by the Bankers Association of Zambia.  Miles Sampa is the inaugural Chairman of the Dealers Association at present.  For further information on the Dealers Association of Zambia activities, please contact groupservices@loita.com.

PRIVATISATION OF BANQUE AFRICAINE CONTINENTALE - Kigali, Rwanda, 30th Sept 2004.

After five years of restructuring and managing Banque Africaine Continentale (Rwanda), Loita Capital Partners International has now successfully completed the privatisation of the bank on the 30th September, 2004. The bank was being managed by Loita on behalf of the Government of Rwanda and a key tenet was to assist them in the privatisation of the bank.
